About to drop a grand, where should I buy everything?

I am about to start my biggest project ever, complete underbody rebuild... :D

My paycheck is the 15th, and on that day I am ordering the following items (you need excel)

so where shoudl I buy the stuff, a few of these items are bavauto only it seems, however if anybody else makes the same damn part for less? =)

What I am doing is a complete 5 speed conversion, m3 steering rack, new front/rear sway bars, new rear subframe bushings, new diff cover, new trailing arm bushings, new brakelines, new fluid, new clutch. etc etc etc. Car is an 86 ETA.

I was thinking bavauto and dealer, however BMA looks to be pretty good, that and EAP4parts.com, anybody else have any ideas? anybody have any comments on the places above? etc :)

Alot of questions, but I don't want to be burned

Get to be real good friends with your local parts guy at the stealer. I always buy my parts through my friend name who now gets wholesale prices.

Dunno about those other guys, I have no experience w/ 'em...

... but either Bimmerparts or Bimmerzone would be a good bet - they are both good shops.

Buy from BMA, and if eap4parts.com has cheaper prices (they do for everything I am ordering), then BMA will price match for you.

If you have part #s, just call up BMA and rattle 'em off. They'll just plug them all in and send you your stuff. They have great service and better prices than Bav Auto.

                  just email him @
                  "Steve Haygood" <sfhaygood@alltel.net>
With your list and he'll give you a quote. I'm going to be buying most of my m30 parts from him as his price is almost half of the Bavauto price for most parts.
