Anyone know whos e30? Or what the color is?

I need to paint my 240z. I was thinking something like this, just a tad lighter

came across this e30. so fooking hot. Anyone know the color, or where I could get in touch with someone that might know?

I think that e30 was an attempt at Avus blue ...but its not quite .

Maybe you should check out Montreal Blue or Mauritius Blue .

Those colors I mentioned are all BMW colors .
You can do google image search and type in BMW maritus , bmw MOntreal and try BMW Lemans too for pics of the colors .

Yes that car is supposed to be Avus but from the pics I've seen it is not a good/true representation of the OE color .

That car looks nothing like that in person. Here is a link to his for sale link from awhile back:

that looks like a nissan color to me - can't remember the name of it, but it's on the newer cars. damn hot color too. I would go to a dealership and check out their blues - you can get the name of the color too.

More food for thought. My old 240z. Matches your description of "a tad lighter."

well, it was actually painted at Earl Scheid of Maaco or one of those places. It was a really inexpensive paint job. It was one of their regular color options, although I don't know the name of the color.
