ahh, I ride flatland BMX, so this is also a gold mine thread.
There are two companies that still make coaster brakes, bendix and suntour. Both of these companies make them in 36 and 48 hole configurations (48 hole is most common outside of flatland).
An alex single wall will be stronger than any huffy or other rim, haros generally use a double or even triple wall rim, especially if it is a newer bike. Coaster brakes act just like freewheel hubs, they just lock up when you pedal backwards. If you lace 4x (4 cross) with 48 spokes, you will really have to destroy your bike to get that rim to bend.
