Bimmerfest 2008 DVD preview from jnbphotovideo.com
Why the promoters of bimmerfest don't make this a free download I will never know. Can you say "free advertising"?
And before you flame me, I'm a video shooter/editor so I know what when into it.
Plenty of people make free videos from Bfest every year, hell I did it for the past 3 or 4 years. This year we decided to go much bigger and make a full DVD, we had 5-6 people filming around the clock at Bfest. Not to mention, the promoters for Bfest are not the ones selling this DVD, we are (JNB Photography). We were contracted by them to make this, so it is the official DVD.
Well - a smart marketing move for them would to be to pay you, so that you didn't do it on spec ("speculation" - in the business it's call that cause you do work and speculate if you will make money or not). That's all I'm saying - and BTW - for the $20, it looks great.

Thanks man, the DVD is actually $15.99 and I hear if you use google checkout for the first time you get $10 off!
I haven't used AVID in quite some time! We are using a combo of Final Cut Pro and After Effects. I am professional photographer/videographer/video editor for a major software company so we use FCP and AE mostly. We are having the footage professionally color corrected by a big time production house so the quality is going to be top notch (especially compared to past years dvds....)
