Shit, that's a long ass time w/ no updates. Sad it didn't come out in august like expected. Sad that the 10 million and a half companies doing videos for every minitruck show that happens can do better than this company with being on time.

I'm 100% not surprised at all. Chances are they shot 20 hours of video, realized what a pain in the ass it would be to edit, put the project on the back burner while they edited some poor schmuck's wedding video - and now it's too late to make any money on it.

I've seen this kind of stuff happen before - it gives video guys a bad name. And I don't say that to be a "know it all" internet ass. I've worked in video and film since I was 17.

On the bimmerfest forums he told someone that his laptop was stolen - and all the footage was on it. That's not how things work. We still shoot on tape - digital tape - but tape. And you NEVER throw away the tape till the edit is done and in the can.
