    is the S50 crank specific to the S50?

    or will an M50 crank work with S50 rods and pistons in a bored out block?
    what exactly is sigworthy

    As far as I know it is s50 specific and also it is forged like the m52(2.8l) and s52(3.2l) us cranks

      so i cant bore out an M50 to 3.0 liters and use the S5- rods and pistons?

        yes you can bore a m50 and used any crank & rods, pistons will be match to compression & bore of block

          you can't bore to 3.0 liters with the stock M50 crank.. they have different strokes, that's where most of the extradisplacement comes from.

              I do have a forged 2.8l crank forsale had 62k miles on it was keeping as spare but if your interested I also have a 3.2l forsale search my screen name. later scott

                Justin, I might have a spare s50 crank in the GF's garage... I just got into the tool box too, so Im looking for a couple things that you may be interested in.

                      you can use a s50 crank in a m50 block. with non-vanos rods and s50 pistons it yields 2.9L.

                        uhm... M50 and S50 rods are both 135mm. and if you used both S50 crank and pistons, you would have exactly the same displacement as an S50. ;)
