bought some NGK spark plugs, but the wires don't fit?

I bought some new NGK spark plugs with copper for my 325es, but the spark plug wire doesn't fit over it. The Bosch Platinums that are in there now (installed by PO) have a threaded tip, whereas the NGK does not. I know you can screw them off usually, but the NGK tips are securely attached.

Can I just go to Kragen's and get a new set of spark plug wires?

you're better of just getting bosch copper cores. They are cheaper and they are a direct fit without needing different spark plug boots.

You should have let the engine cool down more.

yeah, sometimes i think ngk has a goddamn gorilla spin those caps on as tight as he can just to fuck with people.
I'd rather have Sarah Palin 1 hearbeat away from the Presidency than Nancy Pelosi 2 heartbeats away.

Nah, I wouldn't worry about that too much. Our boy HardonTech here is quite the body builder.

x2. I don't think you let it cool down enough.

Hey when you're done do a write up. I'm pretty sure there's like 3 or 4 more people on this board who need help changing their plugs.

They may not have threaded con tips...just go get the Bosch W8LCR (or what ever it supersedes to)

BTW the Bosch Platinum's suck ass.

+1 on the writeup! I get so confused trying to change my plugs, usually I just trace the wires to find out where the plugs are but I can't even find my wires so I'm at a total loss.

The last time I did my plugs I got so confused and so pissed that I struck my wife. A write up would really help me a lot.

Your spark plug frustration or sexual frustration?
