Okay So....They sent me a set to play with.

The tube finish is fine and the welds at first glance are acceptable but looking at them with a borescope you can see marbles left over that they couldn't reach to clean up. (this could be cleaned up with an abrasive blaster).

The flanges are a bit rough.

I did a test fit and it went as good as could be expected with any header (the trick, as with anything, is not to tighten anything up until everything is in place).

However, I have to take this all with a grain of salt because this unit was shipped to me free of charge to inspect in the hopes that I would buy them to resell.

The design is well known and much copied so I assume the will perform as expected (at least after the innards are cleaned up a bit).

I may run these on Franken Kar (can't waste it even if it's a freebie from China) But the first thing I would do would be to shot peen all that pretty shine off of them in hopes of avoiding stress cracks.

Of course (and I explained this to them before they shipped it to me) I will not market any product not made here in the US or OE equipment from EU.

it does appear that they are making offshore copies of the "true long tube" headers now also. looks like Stahl copies.

Yes indeed non-magnetic rice alloy from Mainland China.

The only thing more common than this material is dirt.

If you don't do a dyno test, you're just as weak as though labor exporting IE bitches.

Seriously. I'm sick of hearing this and that, I want a reputable source to do some actual testing.

I'd love it if your were are source.

                  Okay, here is the deal.

If I do install this shit on the 325 I'll dyno the car before and after the install and post the results in the forum.

It will probably be a little while because I'm in the middle of a bunch of projects at the moment (most notably keeping the kids fed).
