    T minus 5 days

My 325i has been down for the last month at Terry Sayther getting her S52 transplant /5sp swap/ koni shock upgrade (along with the last of the Mtech 2 install). I'll have some pics later tomorrow and she started today. They have been great down there and have kept me in the loop most of the last month. They said the engine was one of the cleanest S52 that they have seen in a long while (40k M roadster). They also upgraded front/rear sways to IE large ones.

Now I have to part with a fairly large check :)

Anyway, thanks to everyone here that have been so helpful. I hope to have her back as my daily driver here soon (damn rental running up tab also).

Most are free you just pay shipping of any where from 5k to 20k. Mostly depends if your east or west of the Mississippi.

Stromspike you will love the swap. Look forward to seeing pictures.

The rental car bill should be the least of your monetary worries.

Here are some pics from Austin!

Here are some pics from Terry Sayther. What do you all think? They still have to tidy up the engine a bit and put the wiring covers on the firewall. I think the new side skirts/door kit is great! The rear seems a bit low. They are the IE spring/koni set. Is there anyway to raise the rear? The front looks great. Should be ready by Monday or Tues to come back home to Dallas!

Wheels coming in a few months. Swap ate up most of budget now. Also, with starting new job, moving, etc. cash lower than I like now.

Those were factory Mtech II European Aero kit that Bavarian Auto ordered and had imported from Germany. Only 4 or 5 left in world inventory. Damn things cost me a ton. They are stamped BMW and are made for my 2 door. If this is not Mtech II, what kit sides are they?

I think theres supposed to be another panel on the lower part of the door, but I'm not sure, not an expert on aero kits. Was your car in an accident? some of those panels don't look like they are lined up that well. But then again most E30s I've seen are like that. Awesome looking car anyways. That thing will be a beast with the new motor. Clean clean car.

the m tech 2 kit usually has sideskirts, and three pieces for the fender, door, and qp.

the front and rear are Mtec2 but the sides definately dont look like they're Mtec2. as well as missing the door panels the skirts and ends look different.

will still look pretty sweet when you get some proper wheels on there
