    I would be kicking myself silly for not pulling over right away SLOWLY before it got that far...sooo ...

    Yeah, the point is (and I never thought I would be saying this), double check everything. I know you get tired working under the car, making sure all the components are nice and tight and in good order, and putting the wheels/tires on is like a home streatch but...that's what your whole car is riding on :)

    Alright, back to flaming lol

      That's really lucky. Congrats, that would have been a huge headache.

      When ever I'm doing work on the suspension, brakes, or anything that makes the car roll or stop, I triple check everything. I'm paranoid about something like that happening when I'm doing 70 mph on I-90 or something.

      I did have a front brake caliper bolt shear when I was braking on an off ramp once. That scared the shit out of me.

        I had to drive 5 miles with my caliper wobbling b/c some asshole didn't tighten them after a brake change, first and last time I would ever trust another person to touch my car!!
