    Eibach spring Identify please.

Got these the other day from a junked car. I don't know what they are and i'm concerned that they have been cut. Do they look familiar to anyone?

The only markings are Eibach springs 31/ 33? and 9301.001?

    anyone have a clue?

    Thanks

Looks like they've been cut there mang.

should have some dead-coils up top to keep them centered.

Those are the eibach competition (AKA road race) springs. I had those on my M3 when I bought it. Too bad the coil is cut, those are really good springs, comparable to the H&R Race springs. See here for more information:

damn it, i was fine when i thought they were crappy pro sports or something.
What kind of dip shit cuts decent springs anyway.

Chucko, any idea where there is another set of fronts? The rears I got are intact and fine.

I sold my set a few months ago and I don't know of anyone selling these currently. They do pop up every now and then on the forums.

You might try contacting Turner Motorsport as your set may be one of their old J-Stock kits. As I understand it, they used to cut part of the top coil before selling to customers.
                  See this thread here:

It's probably not a big problem to run these as they are. IIRC the top coil is a dead coil.
Check out this thread for info on running with cut coils:

                  Here's mine with uncut coils:

I have them bro and I love them. These and billy sports are just perfect for me. Just stiff enough to have a lot of fun but it also doesn't compramise ride quality like coilovers. And with fairly high springs rates they are a good option to go with.
