    B pillar cross bar

I've seen a few E30's with a cross bar between the B pillars. Some have mounted cameras to this bar or their 5 point harness. Does anyone know who makes this bar?

Sparco sells one for ours cars, as well as http://www.speedwaremotorsports.com/safety/hbars.asp. I have emailed Speedware and it costs about the same as Sparco's which is $400. A group buy could bring the price down but I don't think that there is enough interest in these to make that happen. For that price I think it's better to go ahead and get a bolt-in roll bar with a cross bar to attach harnesses too.

Considering that GB for the Kirk roll bars was down to $297 per bar, it's not worth buying just one of those camera mounts for $400.

the Sparco bars are very nice quality and strengthen the car up alot. They have super high quality hardware and they are super clean and strong. I've seen them in person and i would say they are worth the $$ but that cause im partial to sparco

yeah $400 just to mount the camera is a bit too much. It would be cheaper just to tape it to the dash. :D

Bingo. $400 is a damn rip off for something that you could only use at autocrosses

40 bucks, cheaper than it would cost to make one. Mounts to the headrest, I use it for autox's and track days, works great.

my friend used to make those out of acrylic and sell them to strictly BMW...... they bought them for about $40 each (about $10 in material) then sold them for $270 or so
