Farbin is 100% correct. I just did those on my brother's car like 3-4 weeks ago.
Anybody familiar w/ 90s Honda Accords?

Thanks for the help, I will definitely pick up that valve cover set.
Just curious, but can any of you think of any way that oil in the spark plug holes would cause a car to fail emissions testing? The reason we were working on this car in the first place is he failed emissions.

Nope, show me the numbers but I'll bet you need to clean the EGR ports. They are all carbon'ed up. I bet it was high NOX.Thanks for the help, I will definitely pick up that valve cover set.

In reality, it's 10 in the field, 4 of them with a Honda/Acura Specialist. Lots of that four years hands-on diagnostic time while running two shops. The reason I said is because the 2.2/2.3l I4 and 3.0/3.5l V6's clog tubes regularly. The sixes are nicer though because you just pull the manifold covers and drill that stuff out.Comment

+1
and another +1 on Farbin's diag.
-Oil in the sparky tubes can cause missfires, which can easily cause the motor to fail an emissions test1989 cirrisblau-metallic 325iComment
