    e9nine's e30 gets new sneakers

e9nines place of employment is not too far away from mine. He works in a town where I lived for 17 years.

Given his proximity to where I live now, it was only a matter of time before he and I met.
I had originally recomended my local MIDAS shop to get a new catalytic converter installed. My initial impression was that they seem a good place to deal with and the fact that the manager / owner is also a BMW enthusiast helps.

Unfortunately, they were not able to install e9nines cat yesterday as they would have to work up some custom tubing to replace the stock one with a much shorter catco high flow unit. e9nime however had them install his new Yokohama es100s on his new 15x7 BBS RZ wheels.

Man o man, those wheels look great and the Yokes look impressive as well.

We all know what happens when a minimum of two car enthusiasts get together. First of its always hard to leave the parking lot and once you get talking 3 hours feels like 5 minutes. Fortunately there is an Applebees nearby.

E9nine, it was a sincere pleasure meeting you. I look forward to future meetings.

Here are some pix I took.

    My favorite.

    My second favorite.

It was a pleasure meeting you too thanks for the :drink: ... nothing beats chatting over cars man...nothing...

Its a pity it was dark and rainy and we couldn't go break the yokes in.... These wheels are amazing to me granted I came from some no name tires that were worn beyond the wear bars in the rear

No biggie on the Cat. I forgot to tell you, he said I can drop it off and he'll lend me a loaner truck so I'll prob get it done next week. As nice as it is to be burbling and backfiring...the smell of the cat makes me sick...

    That first pic is

I have to agree here, Weaves with a dish look damn good on our cars, but the cleaning required... isnt my bag.

Yup, Tire Rack replaced it for 50% off. Good deal considering it had no road hazard!
