that's not really true, a set of well designed extractors should see a healthy gain in torque. not 50ft/lbs on an m20 of course, but a nice gain.

cheesy made in china mid length headers though? yeah, i wouldn't expect much.

Yeah, we all know "generally" what to expect from headers designed like that.

Just curious to see the actual numbers.

Lol, thank you, finally someone reputable has seen them firsthand to comment on them. I always get arguments out of people when I try to say they're crap.

This is where you can get them for about $150....

The quality of the ones they sent are probably the very best they can do...

So I can't really say how good it is in general...

But they are a hell of a lot better than the ones I've seen go for 300 ~ 400 Plus from the e30 junk peddelers...

I was told by independant sources that the ship fast.

these are probably made by the same guys making the ebay 24v headers, which i am running on my s50 swapped car. they are loud and raspy due to the thin material used. they also let alot of heat through, which is why i wrapped them with fiberglass.

Being familiar with the design of these I expect a small loss of bottom end torque and a small gain at the top end of the curve (when compared to a stock M20B25 Manifold and down tube set up.... But we'll see.

These look very familiar to the original 'Budget Beater' headers from some time ago.

My friend has a set on his Seta. They run HOT!!! We installed a heat blanket thats just tucked under the factory heat shield flaps and it covers the pipes over the bends and down a few inches. The idea was to keep the heat from the coolant reservoir.

The piping material itself is very thin and you can hear the exhaust pulse's hitting the inside of the pipes creating a 'pinging' sound. They started to 'blue' and looked decent but the color slowly turned dark and funky looking. Almost a cork board color.

But whatever they work and don't leak and haven't cracked yet. They have been in daily service for about a year now.
