its not, but if it was, it is still a E30 M3 for under a grand. The color is some sort of rose champain over the Metalic Diamonschwartz. I am going to return it to factory color

wow, cheap! It's beat to shit, but it's damn cheap to have a TRULY clean slate to start with since everything has to be fixed and might as well be changed to how you like it anyway :)

It will spend quite a long time in ICU. We all know how expensive a trip to ICU is.

IMHO that is something to part out. Keep the 5 lug/brakes for yourself and sell off the difference as that is going to take way more money to bring back than you can buy a e30 m3 for. Hell getting the motor back into condition will break your wallet by itself. Or turn it into a track car.

Congrats on the find, but...the $15k rule has risen to the $17-20k rule in the past couple of years. Looking at what you have there, to get that car 'right' will put you at that higher figure, if not more. Not trying to be negative-I am on my second E30 M3 and have enough experience to know.

But seriously, good luck with all of this...what are your exact plans for it?

its weird, being the "bronzit" shade that it is, it hides the body lines of being an m3, i guess the trunk being up doesnt help much either.

I agree with Atomic. You will make a BOATLOAD parting that thing out, even if you keep the 5 lug parts, especially considering what you paid for it.

Can you do me a big favor and take a picture of the rear speaker shelf? I've been trying to find a good picture of one for the last month w/o any luck. You see, I want a new speaker shelf w/o a 3rd brake light and think one from the e30m3 would be it. I know it uses an "extension" behind it, but I don't know for a fact if the e30m3 rear speaker shelf has the same shape as any other speaker shelf.

                                Would be much appreciated!
