It might not be "missing," your car might never have had one. Mine had a little piece of foam over the contacts. Buy the plug adapter cable for $8 at the dealership and a $20 LED MagLite - that's a much better use of your money.Comment

OT:have you seen the xenon maglights? They're crazy bright. I have one of the giant LED ones, and we used it as a headlight for a pontiac pariessiane (sp?) when both originals blew on the same night ;)
Anyway, yes they came with flashlights. The lights are very, very dim, though.Comment

I understand they are not bright, but I want all the pieces that go with the car for aesthetic reasons. Mine has a piece of foam there like it never had one, but it looks like it is wired behind it so I am going to get one. I have a LED maglight that goes in the car also. I was wondering if there was ever insulating on the underside of the trunk. It looks like there are holes there to mount one but I am not sure.I feel like a fish out of water, most times.
