Hold on, did it start back up after you put the oil in? Have you hit anything in the past 300 miles or let anyone drive your car? Was the drainplug on the pan? There is a chance the drainplug could have backed out while driving, but your car probably would have smoked a bit from the hot exhaust and oil. Has it smel3ld funny at all since your "friend" got his hands on it?

Staci, just take it to Pete. Have him check it out, if its too costly of a fix just sell it and get something else. At least then you'll know the issue. If any besides low oil, was your oil light on?

The oil light came on when the car died, i'll give pete a call next week if i can't find a solution in the harbor.

I went to start it after work today and it r3v'd up then died. low and behold it's out of oil, no oil puddles in my driveway so i'm not sure where it's going

If the plug is still intact, he probably poured the new oil down the wrong filler tube.
