I like both, but both are ugly.

I wouldnt own either. If either was given to me, I would sell it to the nearest dealer for cash.

STi. I guess I just like the styling better, and the crankwalk issues with the earlier 4G63 engines just haunts me.

STi. Get one of the facelifted models, they look a lot better.

The Mee-so-bitchy's interior is plain but the build quality is higher.
        Im now E30less.

          I've always had a thing for STi's.

            Both rock.

The Evo needs JDM Evo 7 tails though.

STi, because Subaru will still be a company in five years

Definately STi. From the bubble fenders to the large wing on the back, it's a very aggressive looking sports car with the power to back it up.

Evo, but he lightweight RS model. I'll take the suspension and drivetrain setup geared more towards us rear wheel drive folk.

The STI is sic, it looks aggressive and the EVO looks pissed off. Someone should PS a lil of both onto one car.

Sti has a little more power but the evo has more handling...i'd go with the sti myself...

EVO. Its the car that started this whole craze (long before the WRX came to these shores). In addition its less expensive and while its a few hp less, still has practically identical numbers to the STi. Plus, I'm not keen on the STi's styling. Just my 2ยข.

you guys get watered down versions of both...so my thoughts may be different...go the evo....the best value for money new car that i can possibly think of....$74k NZ...compare to a lambo gallardo or similar....spend the difference on mods...and you got one hell of a car. NO it doesnt have styling or class of a lambo or porsche ....but who cares when its that quick! evo 7 or 8 is one of my personal have to own cars one day, so easy to drive too. not as big a fan of the STi, their newer models have improved a lot but their damn spark plugs are so hard to get to!
