I don't think you have been formally introduced...

My mother picked this up a while back to replace the tired exploder. 2006 a4 3.2 quattro more or less fully loaded.

IIRC it had 29k on it when we got it, has 33k now.

    Real Options:
Nav (which also accepts SD cards with mp3s) (cd changer too) (bose)
    Bluetooth
    Auto Wipers
    HID/Projectors
    Homelink

Things you should get automatically buy you don't but we did get them:
    Heated/Auto-dim Mirrors
    Auto-dim rear view mirror
    Heated Seats (front only)

    I think that covers it...

First mod was the front plate delete panel. Second mod was vag-comming the son of a bitch to turn the fucking seatbelt dinger off, god that thing is annoying as shit. Even in PARK it will ding forever... fucking stupid.

    Pics:

My and my buddy just detailed the whole car after a 600 mile 4th of july trip. Carpets were still a bit damp. Cleaned the whole inside, did the leather, wax etc...

    Edit:

Oh yes, the wood is ugly as FUCK. I hate it so much. My mom doesn't even like it. But the car was too good of a deal to pass up, and it had EVERYTHING we wanted. Maybe someday when its not such an "expensive" car it will get a piano black treatment.

Audi designers have picked up where BMW left off with the advent of the Bangle era: clean designs that will stand the test of time. Nice car ... and props to you for taking such good care of it.

Yeah I have to yell at my mother a lot and tell her this isn't a shitty SUV. She is/was used to just plowing over anything in the exploder so I had to tell her to slow down when going into parking lots etc...

One time I caught her putting cardboard boxes on the trunk... We will have no more of that.

Nice find. Yeah, I can only imagine the typical E30 owner in a new-age Audi, "Ah, what was that beeping noise? What?! Where are all of these lights coming from?! Why is everything rubberized?"

Haha yeah, it does get confusing. I can do pretty much everything but the auto climate. I don't understand wtf is going on lol.

It's not my car either ;) Fun as hell to drive though, that 3.2 just pulls and pulls.

Yeah, I've heard lots of good about that new 3.2 FSI unit. My mom had an '02 B6 3.0Q Avant, that 3.0 wasn't the most outstanding motor, but the typical Audi interior layout was pretty dope.

I don't miss my 06 2.0tq fully loaded ONE BIT. It was an S-Line packaged car, it handled well and all, but it was one BORING car. Brakes on it sucked ass. Bluetooth kicked ass though, and HIDs kept going bad many times. Along with fuel delivery shit.

                  Pretty cars though

I caught my parents using the hood of my e30 (which was covered and garaged at the time) to dry out firewood that had been outside...

If by that, you mean boooooring. Everything in Audi's current lineup looks like an e39, which is one of the blandest, most jellybean-like designs I've ever seen.

No, I think that award goes to the 3rd-gen ford taurus ;).

Anyway, I like the Audi, but that interior just doesn't do it for me. And it really needs a front lip and a drop.

                          Cool car.

                          and here, i'll say
Bangle's design have grown on me... A whole hell of a lot. From what I thought was disgusting, has now become he new standard for modern cars. Many new cars share the very aggressive styling cues from bangle's early cars. For me it started with the z4M coupe, then the 1 series wagon (3 door) and now the rest. (7 is still ugly tho. lulz)

I agree with you to an extent that some of Bangle's design work has grown on me. The Z4 line for sure, especially the M coupe, are great looking cars. As far as the 3 series goes, I like the lines and proportions of the sedan much more than the coupe. The 1 series I'm still warming up to - sure wish our market was getting the 3-door hatch variant sold in Europe - I like that one a lot. Everything else I'm not particularly crazy about. 7-series? Blah. The new X6? I'm reaching for my air sickness bag.

Back to the A4 being introduced to us: my brother-in-law picked up a new A4 sedan this week (I haven't seen it personally yet) so I don't know what kind of power & drivetrain choice he went with. All I know is that it's a leased car since he can write it off and his brother is a manager at a Seattle-based Audi dealership so he hooked him up with a good deal. I'm looking forward to checking it out and hopefully taking it for a spin. I think Audi has really stepped up their game in the last few years and the result is some good looking cars with even more stunning interiors. I really like the new A3 and of course the R8. That thing is just baller.

Audi interiors really are amazing, especially the new S5 and the R8, naturally ;). The bangle-ized BMWs don't look bad, but they are far too isolated and heavy than they should be. The interior still isn't up to Audi standards, although the materials are getting much nicer than the initial models. My parents have an e34 M5, however, and it really feels like driving a lighter, more connected version of the 335i sedan, and with less bottom end. It really is a strange feeling.

As for the quality, pray that you don't have any electrical problems :). Audis and VWs in general seem to have a reputation for them.
