E30 M3 - you get it because it has a great history and it is a real collectors' car. And as we know, the owners of these cars are very passionate about them and what they represent.

E36 M3 - you get because you want to drive the wheels off the thing. For the most part, they are good cars with lots of aftermarket tuning potential. And they are cheaper to buy and mod.

After owning my 89' 325i, I have to say my e36 is a much easier car to live with on a daily basis.

BF.C's problems have been well documented above, but I'd like to remind you that there's more to it that the General Forum and the E36 Forum. I find the E24 forum to be very informative, and it rarely has to deal with drive-by douchebags.

As for the E30 M3, I want one. I need to complete the set (3, 5, 6, 7). Go ahead, ask about the 7 ;).

your definitly right...The Northwest Regional forum is always active on there, with alot of good people, and alot of meets.

Its not all bad. i just love how a majority of the forum is dedicated to "how fast can i make my e36"

Yea, the only forums I go into on BF.c is the FI forum and the Track forum, and sometimes the OT.

How is this any different than people trying to attach M3 body flares and other parts onto their E30's? Of which there are several on this board, who are more than applauded and testicle coddled for doing it. It's just a more complicated procedure on an e30 because of the nature of the parts?

                    you have a point...but "several" < half of bf.c.

and flares are a little better than M mouldings, and badges.

                    besides testicle coddling FTW
