My 1986 325es has the M SPORT SUSPENSION option and I am wondering what exactly that is. Thank you for your help.

It's the same thing. It's just spray painted for longevity.

Pin stripes on the hood :P

Serious answer: the es and is models had stiffer springs than the base-trim e30's, along with limited-slip differentials and some exterior trim. So, the M SPORT SUSPENSION is exactly that - stiffer sport springs. They're not much lower, if at all, though.

-Not so sure about that ^. The springs are the same, they just had Bilstien dampers. Now sold as Billy HD's IIRC

Hmm, I'd been led to believe that it was that way.

So the only difference from normal is,es suspension is that I have HD rear shocks? or struts also?
