I love the styling of those cars. However my friend had one with lower miles and great condition. He had it for a year and put over $5k in it in that time period. So he sold it and got a Taurus.

From what I heard the older Audis are not that reliable, but I really love the styling of the cars.

yea, I almost bought a "90" audi....there are some body kits that make that car SICK....They feel heavy driving though, like they don't want to be tossed around a lot.

Check out a 90 with a abt kit....SICK (tried looking, couldn't find a pic for you all)

            that's because they are heavy.

nice looking cars, but I'd rather drive a 5 speed ix..

The only problem I ever had were piddly. WIndow swtiches and shit like that. Other than that the car ran like a champ. Nothing you wouldnt expect to have on any maintained older car.
              Im now E30less.

Yea maintain it well and it would be an awesome car. There is a quattro coupe around where I live slammed with tons of dish. its amazing.

                I bombed Korea every night.

well i doubt she wants it now, because she just relized she doesn't like cars with more than 70K miles on it. she is an odd one, and she wont go with a bmw at all

the only one she would want to get (if she had to) would be a e30 convertable, i told she should then get euro bumpers, because dont all converts come with driving boards?

Incorrect. Cabrios started having plastic bumpers in 91 (thus the 91 and 92 cabs have them).

they also have the lower rear fender arches, so switching to plastic bumpers is easy. you stll need a rear skirt though.
