Somebody going to steal my wheels??

This morning I get out to my car (335iC), which was parked on the side of the street and find that one of the alpina hubcaps were missing. I then look in the middle of the street and see it lying there.

Now these fuckers are hard to get in, and just as difficult to remove. I think there was some foul play going on and somebody was seeing what kind of lug size I have so they can remove them the wheels another time. That’s what I THINK happened.

Should I be worried? And what locklugs do you guys use?

I have an alarm and I can hear it easily from where I sleep, but I’m just worried. Any thoughts?

four sets of wheel locks, and a really heavy keychain w/ said locks on it.

Your just going to have to sit it out. Get a shotgun and sit in side and watch your car for the next week or so and when they show up let them get one rim off then seriously bust a cap in their ass then call the cops and let them clean up the mess. Or your going to have to live with out your rims.

OP, I'd just buy a set of BMW locking lugs. One set should be fine. While four sets would be prime, they'd be a bitch if you had a tire blowout on the highway.

Lock lugs from stealership are usually $30 here, and Advance Auto here can order a set too for $25.

Can't shoot them, you'll get in trouble, but spraying your wheels with tear gas would be fun to watch from inside.

Go to the pistol range. Get some silhouette targets. Shoot a really tight grouping. Bring paper target home. Leave paper target in the car and easily visible.

In FL I believe your allowed to shoot someone that is in your car if you feel they are posing a life threating danger to you.

But 4 sets of locks would be the best route to go.

Just make sure they're decent locks. You can easily take mine off with a regular lug wrench...Even though they're supposed to have a key. Not that I care with my bent wheels that were $400 new
