    Hottest e28 I've ever seen

I spotted tis yesterday on the way to the grocery store. My jaw fucking hit the floor so I pulled around the block to take a closer look. The owner was outside showing it to one of his friends. We both shot the shit for like 20 minutes and oggled each other's cars. Serisouly, this has to be the nicest e28 I've ever seen. I love the taillights and semi-gloss paint. Everything is done perfectly, every panel gap is near perfect and the paint is excellent. It's an 89 535is. Sorry for the shitty cell phone pics, by the time I ran home and grabbed the DSLR he had left.

I just don't 'get' this entire semi-gloss paint thing that is going on. Call me old fashioned, but if I am going to put that much time, effort, and money into respraying a car it's not going to come out looking like dead 20 year old paint. Oh well, to each his own...

But otherwise, I agree-it's a very nice looking E28. But wasn't '88 the last year of the E28? I was fairly certain that the E34 came out in '89.

            ^ Correct, MY88 was E28 and MY89 was E34.

I'm not feeling the seats or the wheels or the taillights or the color. But the front and and euro H1/H4 headlamps are keepers.

Not a fan of the seats. Dig the reast though.

That guy posts on bf.c in the E21 section. He builds cars and then sells them. Each creation is different than the last.

Thats my buddy Brent you guys are talking about. That car was white on tan 2 monhts ago. It a low mileage 535is. The body was all converted to the Euro ACS kit, black int, and the front bumper was in literally 1000 peices. The car doesnt photograph well, but it is seriously one of the nicest satin jobs I have seen.

Brent does good work, he just gets bored easily and moves onto the next project. He is amazing when it comes to metal work.

I'm with you on the whole semi gloss/flat paint look.

That car look's nice, but would look so much better gloss.

Agreed, I guess they dig the rat rod style. It's not my choice personally, even when it's draped over million-dollar exotics, but I get its appeal.

Absolutely badass. I love the bumpers and body kit parts.

But the satin paint kills it being a 10 out of 10. If it were gloss black, it would win. But the hottest E28 I've ever seen still goes to SpasticDwarf:
