Those wheels look SOOOOO much better in person, and even better in motion. In the pics they look like poo. I was just at his place on Saturday for a lil BBQ. Still has it. And I would buy it if I didnt have my own lil toy already.

I really like e28s for a cruiser, too bad they get such poor mileage... and the ETA is EVEN slower in them than e30s.

Sorry to bump this. I just needed motivation since my E28 has been down for so long.

oh, the mileage isn't that bad. With a 2.93. You can go 70 in second, too!
            But that's no fun.

I was thinking about doing something similar paint wise as the E30 to the E28.
            Rusted Iron, anyone?

Yeah, Tim's car is one of the cleanest cars around, it was originally imported by Johnny Miller, very nice, clean original Euro M5....

I still think my M535i is pretty friggin sweet....and so was my old M5....
I will have another E28 one day...
But for now it is Cabrio Time...

Yeah, we spent a while talking with him at V @ V. He's a cool guy. Did you sell that M535i to a guy in Raleigh? He's a member of a local Euro board that I frequent. I saw that car also at Vintage, it's very nice.

What front valence is that on the E28 M5? It looks different than a stock one, not sure. My brother is currently in the process of going euro on his E28 535is and got a hold of an E28 M5 front valence, it should look beautiful when it's done in 2015. :D

it's a Paul Ladue copy...Hartge or BBS, I forget now, Paul has a pretty large selection these days, the M5 just turned 100k....

the wheels on my M5 are BBS RC's (early edition) not style 5's, they have correct center bore and weigh 16 lbs for the 8x17 fronts and 18lbs for the 17x9 rears, very lightweight compared to the forged Throwing Stars @ 21 and 22 lbs for the same 17x8&9's...

                      I still have the M535i....
I just want another M5 one day, true euro this time...
Tim's is awesome and now has my Last in the World, NIB, Leather Dash in it...friggin sweet piece there....
If I had $40k+ to buy a collector type car, I would buy his euro M5....
                      sweet car.....

Wow. Yeah, I'd say that's a darn nice piece. I must have seen someone else's M535i at that event. But those are definitely two nice E28's you've got/had.
