Sorry to bump this. I just needed motivation since my E28 has been down for so long.
oh, the mileage isn't that bad. With a 2.93. You can go 70 in second, too!
But that's no fun.
I was thinking about doing something similar paint wise as the E30 to the E28.
Rusted Iron, anyone?Last edited by ldsbeaker; 08-04-2008, 09:28 AM.Slicktop City!

What front valence is that on the E28 M5? It looks different than a stock one, not sure. My brother is currently in the process of going euro on his E28 535is and got a hold of an E28 M5 front valence, it should look beautiful when it's done in 2015. :D- Trey

it's a Paul Ladue copy...Hartge or BBS, I forget now, Paul has a pretty large selection these days, the M5 just turned 100k....
the wheels on my M5 are BBS RC's (early edition) not style 5's, they have correct center bore and weigh 16 lbs for the 8x17 fronts and 18lbs for the 17x9 rears, very lightweight compared to the forged Throwing Stars @ 21 and 22 lbs for the same 17x8&9's...
I still have the M535i....
I just want another M5 one day, true euro this time...
Tim's is awesome and now has my Last in the World, NIB, Leather Dash in it...friggin sweet piece there....
If I had $40k+ to buy a collector type car, I would buy his euro M5....
sweet car.....
