Finally back on the road and with new wheels

Well I finally got the little 91 318is back on the road. I got the m50 in short order but had a heater hose burst and then a power steering hose leak and 4 weeks of not being able to touch it. I got some time this weekend to get it on the road but in the down time I found a set of 17" wheels for $125. They were Mila Miglia 1000's. One had a crack and all had some curb rash. After welding and sanding and painting them graphite, and putting on new tires I was able to get them on this weekend. I took it to the muffler shop and got a 2 into 1 2.5" all the way out with Magnaflow muffler and a resonator. I am not 100% sure I like the sound but the price was right. $350 out the door. The only pics I have is cell phone pics since my camera died. Before I get flamed for the 4x4 ride height, the shocks and springs will be here Friday. I also have a new IS lip for it but I have to work on the valance to make it fit. I Hope to get it put on this weekend with the springs.

This is the day I brought the car home from New Orleans.


This is today right after I brought it home. I havent even washed it yet. I was just happy to be driving again.

Sweet 91is, and I like the rims alot, and I wouldn't drop it until you get a skit plate!

How many miles is on her? Oh wait you have an M50 in there?

The speedo shows 121K but it quite working. I am guessing about 130k. I hope to get a full repaint before winter. I still have to get the AC working or my wife wont ride in it. I have all the hoses just need to make it all up and charge it. The wheel turned out pretty good since I have all of about $135 in them an a little time.

I meant to put it in members rides but put it here buy mistake. In the post I said the drop will be this weekend if the parts show up this week. Thanks For the compliments.
