    100,000 miles

MY E30 JUST ROLLED OVER 100,000 TODAY!!! SAD. . .

I have a 1985 318i that I just redid the clutch and shift linkage it's nice. sad thing I found is I have to replace the mounts for the tranny and the motor.
I should do a swap while I'm at it.

Mine turned 100K last year. Its now at 108K because of daily driving. I'm so sad. I need to buy a DD as soon as possibly. :(

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

Damn, your car has hardly been driven. It was likely bought new in '84 so it's had 24 years of service already. That thing has barely averaged over 4,000 miles a year.

Why? It's an e30... might as well drive it. You're not going to do any good with it as a garage queen. And if a fairly stock (save for springs, shocks, wheels etc.) street driven is your nice weekend car, I'd hate to see what you'd get for a DD unless the nice car would serve as the driver.

I'm 6 miles shy of hitting 200K. Which reminds me - oil change time.

I'm at about 176k. 100k would be nice.

Don't get me wrong, I love my E30 for daily driving. Its one of the better feelings I've had while driving a car. I'm saying a nice DD would be nice for driving long distances and for my unfriendly New England winters.
