eehhh - this idea comes from years and years of all the PC brainwashing we've been putting kids through. "it's okay jimmy, you're not really retarded, we'll just lower the standards for everyone, that way everyone is a winner! as long as you're happy!"

it's fucking ugly, end of story. kind of like how poo tastes bad, waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles tastes good, the sky is blue, etc. there's no fuzzy "aww, it's okay because you're happy." No, it's more like - "you have no fucking taste, take your POS car and go away." ;)

i agree... on certain things. when the product is measurable, then yes, someone should be told the truth. example: when little johnny sucks at a sport, he should be told that he's not good enough and cut from the team. that is measurable. that is a quantitative factor. but i personally think every painting that van gogh ever produced is ugly. and a lot of people agree with me. but by no means should he have told that his work was crap. that is something that can't be measured. it is a matter of opinion. some people like the taste of poo and hate the taste of waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles. its his money and his car. if he wants to tar and feather the damn thing, why should i give a shit?

you shouldn't give a shit, but they also shouldn't expect to post pictures of their "creations" and get free blow jobs for having poor taste. Saying "your car is ugly" is sincere; saying "but as long as you like it" is just sugar coating so you don't feel bad for having an opinion. Cut the crap and tell them like it is.
