Ok, heres a ton of pics. Some showing the paint flaws, some showing vits of my stereo, and some random ones. Didnt have enough time tonight to snap some pics of the current state of the mk2 :P maybe tomorow. Enjoy, I guess.

Thought I would do a quick wax and buff of the hood:
        Before

        After (sorry for dark pics)

        Not bad :D

Here is the bad part of my car (yes it has a salvaged title, If it was a project car i would not keep it because of this, but since its going to just be a dd. the only thing its doing is wearing the tire down differently than the other side)

notice the camber? here is the damage under the hood.

And damage under the fender, behind the front wheel.

        Engine Shots (nothing impressive :P)

'87 that just turned 200k, not bad imo.
        Some interior shots.

Going to junkyard in search of one of these

        New speakers all-around

        2 10" MTX Thunder 4500's powered by a JBL 150x2 RMS Amp

The necessities, lol. (tools and a jump box :)) oh and the "emergency transportation" lol

Here are a couple more I forgot.
Small amounts of rust foundin these places
          Plate tub

          Sunroof towards the rear

Ok, this is bugging me. I have changed the oil, oil filter, air filter, motor flush, plugs, plug wires, etc. and the damn "check" light and service lights are still on. My guess is a bad oxygen sensor? What do you think?

          Thanks fo looking. :)

The "CHECK" light refers ONLY to the overhead panel. The "BRAKE LIGHT" indicator should be on after the car starts, then shut off after you press on the brake pedal.

If it stays on after hitting the brakes, let me know, I will help you fix it. Or, just search, you will find several posts about it, takes like 10 minutes to fix.

The "SERVICE INTERVAL" is just a counter. If you read this: http://www.unofficialbmw.com/repair_faqs/sil.html you will see how to reset it.

If it continues to fuck up, it is usually a bad "SI" board. More search, whatev, y'know?

So yeah, car looks like it need some love, so get on with the German love (which usually requires dildos and poop)

The brake light does shut off after the car starts. The "check" light is the one the stays on. Ill look on the link you gave me for the service interval. oh and hahahahahahhaahha german love ahhaha. yeah, awesome. Ill do a small search tomorow about the SI board, if i come up with nothing ill let ya know. Thanks.

Enjoi makes the best decks, imo. :)

Those are some narrow boards in the back man.

7.6" perfect for me. 7.5 is too narrow and 7.75 is too wide.. :loco::p

                            I swapped a 2.0 bottom ended 1.8 headed 16v into my A2 Jetta :) I would kill for a coupe.

Why? This car is perfect for a learning platform. We all have to start somewhere dont we? I'd rather start with this, so I can understand E30's. As stated before, I am used to A2 VW's. I know them as well as I do, because I started with a beat-ass pile of shit. I would rather have an understanding of a car,(aka start with something like the car I have right now) before I get elbows deep in it and not be able to put it back together correctly. Besides, other than the strut tower being fucked (which its really not that bad), I dont see the purpose of parting it. :)
