What do you mean trunk with no inner taillights? I'm pretty set on a GTI grill, but I won't do it for a while. Probably won't touch the suspension until I'm well out of warranty and the stock struts are gone. Rims, maybe someday.

Anything I plan on doing now is just misk little mods to make it look a better or function better. I think VW is going to release a blue tooth module I might get. Or maybe I might go a different route on that, I want something A2DP so I can stream my phone to my stereo for music.

    Might do a little Vag-comming too ;)

    Edit:

It is damn nice not scraping over every damn bump too lol

Well, after I did a bit of searching, I guess it must have been something custom that the owner did. You know the lights on the trunk and the ligths built into the rear fenders? The lights on the trunk lid were smoothed over with sheetmetal. The job was so well done I thought there was some aftermarket lid availiable. I guess not... At any rate, it looked pretty good, but if it is just a daily it wouldn't be worth it.

I'm a tech at a VW dealership. I've owned 20 vw's over the years and I must say my E30 (my first) is leaps and bounds better than a Mk.2 of the same era hands down.

OP, I have a good friend at RevoTechnik US who could hook you up with some software on the cheap. Let me know if you're interested.
LOL... I've had REVO software on my 1.8t it made a difference until it heat soaks like a biatch. But this is a 2.5, why the eff would you "chip" it ...

First quarter tank down, at 140 miles on my trip meter. 560 miles on 14.5 gal would be nice, somehow I think the 2nd half is gonna go quicker.

I'd remove the hubcaps and drive it.
