i almost sure the jammers are illegal everywhere but detectors are only illegal in virginia.

I got a 30 day suspension back 6 years ago because of 4 or 5 tickets in a year. Since I bought my first v1 in 02, I havent had a single speeding ticket to my name. Not to say I havent had my fun and cut it VERY close, lol.

laser jammers are legal depending on your state.
radar jammers on the other hand = felony in all 50 states

I have a V1, I just wanted to see if a laser jammer would help me out because Ive gotten 2 tickets since I had my V1 both were laser. And I didnt hear laser go off before to let me know he was lasering people, as the manual tells you.

My experience in Cali is always radar... I have never been hit with laser, or seen a cop shooting laser.

Maybe within city limits they use laser, but it seems like CHP is all radar.

I have a Laser Pro Park, and have only been hit once, and I was only going 5 over, so no real trip report from me on it. I guess there is a guy in Seattle that will test for me, I just need to get in contact with him.

CHP is all radar. This was on Hollywood Blvd. West of La Brea on my way to the Sunset Strip.

The nice thing about the Laser Pro Park, is that it is marketed to be a "Parking Assist". The glovebox manual states NOTHING about the Laser Pro Park being a laser jammer.

You can detect radar, and jam laser, but you cant jam radar, or detect laser(unless YOU are being lasered).

Laser is directional, so you cannot detect it unless it's actually hitting you.

You can jam pretty much everything you want, but it's illegal to jam some radio frequencies, and commercial devices are hard to find that do it.

Right, thats what I said, you cant detect laser, unless you are being shot.

And you cant really jam radar with any off the shelf items.
