Lesson of the day??? Never use the M3 as a DD. Only use it when you know, you are within sight or on a driveway of your relations. It just was not your day......Karma!

Might also pick up another set of bumper covers when you see 'em reasonable $$ used, especially a front one. Or run those FG Evo2 bumper cover(s), if they fit nice.
It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

some americans do think that it is they're birthright to drive any car they like. they couldn't be more wrong. getting your license is a privilege these days. its other ppls driving we are trusting our safety to.
OP, you oughta rope off your parking space buddy. that's just plain fucked, diving boards or not, ppl shouldn't be running into others like its bumper cars. people are getting stupider these days, and they want to actually lower the driving age?!

A right is something that is innate. You have a right to freedom in the US. However, you break the laws, you lose that right. A privilege is something earned or given pretty much exclusively to you. Since driving cannot be denied you if you don't break the law, then it really isn't a privilege is it?

It doesn't change the fact that this moron committed one crime, driving without insurance, and tried to perpetrate another by leaving the scene of an accident. Some people shouldn't be driving, but it is difficult to keep people from driving when they are not supposed to because of our systems.
To the OP, I am sorry this happened to you, twice. I hope you can get the damage fixed with no further trauma to you or the car.1987 E30 325is

Also, that's what bumpers are for. Bumping. Be glad it's not frame damage. Always sad to see an M3 get damaged, though :(

Wow. So I just got back from getting the damage estimated by an AllState agent and for the front and rear damage they said 600$!?? WTF?! He said since there was a small scratch on the other side of the rear bumper they would only pay to paint half the bumper?! Also that the front bumper would just be touched up. Bull shit.
