not sure if you're interested, but I just put on a da'lan/curt receiver on my diving board and got a yakima double down. I love the set up. It's just weird to see a hitch on an e30. I'm looking for a lower skirt so I can try to hide it.

it'll keep the stuff off the paint if you do eventually decide to paint it or whatever. And this way you don't have to take everything off just to get to the trunk, either.

Holywood F1B rack. Easy to set up and not that expensive.

don't have any pics on, but this is the hitch. I think it's the actual one that I bought.

I forgot to mention that this only fits diving boards. They do have one that fits plastics, tho. This one bolts onto the aluminum bumper and the spare tire well.

I wouldn't use a trunk mounted rack unless you want to scratch the crap out of your trunk.

I have a cheapy trunk mount i use for my mt bike on my eta. It was well well under 100 bucks over 8 years ago (originally for my dads civic before i could drive).

damn i think i could just make a reciever hitch, as long as i could find the right size metal.
