My last tractor trailer had 640hp and 3200ft/lbs. I know you are from the east coast, but my driver received a speeding ticket going up the backside of the Grapevine. Pulled over for 65mph in a 55mph while weighing 79,000 lbs (fully loaded and at the maximun legal weight). The backside of the Grapevine (South I-5 between Bakersfield and LA) is extremely long and one of the steepest grades in the country (rates in the top 5). I've owned and driven trucks all my life. My last one had more power than should be legal. I couldn't imagine 2500hp and 5600ft/lbs without pulling a trailer.
I just moved a Bandag exec in Long Beach, CA (Naples Island $$$) last month. He had pictures of not only that truck but several others that they sponsor. The specs are crazy. The cab layout is pretty cool and looks like it would be pretty easy and fun to drive.Don't forget the good things Hitler did.
