M-Tech I Steering Wheel Removal Help

I need help removing my M-Tech steering wheel. I'm trying to put my new cluster in and I don't know how to take it off. I searched and couldn't find anything. There's a little phillips screw under the column I took off, but it doesn't do anything. There's also a little door I opened up and it's just some plugs. Please someone point me in the right direction

    Thanks!

Pull out the little roundel and there is a 22mm nut, IIRC, underneath.

    You'll need an extension.

Take a small flat screw driver and pry out the BMW logo in the center of the steering wheel. It pops out really easy. Behind that is a 22mm nut that needs to be removed. It will likely take a a deep well 22mm and short extension or a short 22mm socket and long extension. Once you have the nut off make sure you turn the key to accessory (or is it just with the key inserted) so the steering wheel will not be in the locked position. Also make sure you have the front wheels and steering wheel as straight as possible before even starting anything at all. The wheel might be on kinda tight so you might have to wiggle it back and forth and then pull towards you.

You don't need to pull the steering wheel to remove or install the cluster.

              also QFT...

but it does make it easier IMHO unless it is a airbag wheel

Ok, I took the nut off. Now I'm pulling the wheel towards myself and it's still not coming off. Am I supposed to just keep yanking till it comes off?

Turn the ing. key. Then it will come off.

Everything is on straight, but my turn signal stalk doesn't go back to "non clicking" when I turn. Also it seems as if my rps are cut in half i.e. 7k is almost 4k. Is this cause it went from moto to vdo? Any way to fix this?
