Interesting, my 9/87 production date 325e/4 had a 6-button OBC, but your's appears to have the full OBC II with the stalk control, dope.

i am really sad that my bronzit was killed, but it least it left with honor by taking a honda.

Got a pic of engine bay? Where did you pull VIN from? if dash, could that have been replaced? I don't think that really matters. Nice e30 is a nice e30.

Now that you said Don heath, I feel like I should know the shop, but I can't think of it, and pic doesn't help me out either. lol. I was going to say G&M but I would remember cheerwine machine.

Who is it and how much, i need some stuff done too.

Meh you picked one of the best states to own an E30 in, they are everywhere around here. I'm in your area every once in a while. If you see a black or white early Euro car white late model car on the side of the road with the hood popped and a frustrated owner swearing, yep you guessed it, that's me.

Not saying there arent other black and white cars in NC, just saying that if it's breaking down, it's probably mine.

the guys name is whitley, but like i said he doesn't really advertise that he is out there anymore he just kinda does some stuff here and there. if you want to check out my car after its done i'd be more than happy to meet up with you and if you like it i'll get in touch with john about it. to be honest i don't really feel comfortable talking about how much he charged b/c he's kinda hookin me up b/c he does all the body work on my company repo's. he is replacing my rusted sunroof, fixing the rust spot by the license plate light, sanding down entire car, straitening all body panels, priming the car, putting on 2 coats of paint and 3 coats of clear, and he is giving me an IS spoiler to replace the one that i'm missing.
          and the restore begins...

does Whitley have a VW rabbit by some crazy chance? Obviously a BMW fan, since he is "giving" you a spoiler.

I know I met Whitley, at Korman open house once. Can't be more than one, right? oh well, can't wait to see your car done.

kaiser i had planned on coming but i didn't want to take the chance with the center driveshaft bearing, i was getting a lot of knocking. i'll try to make the next one.

aptyp-i don't think he has a rabbit i could be wrong though. i've only seen him in some crapbox pontiac. whitley is his last name btw.

again thnx for the welcomes and i look forward to posting pics of the cars progress.

engine bay shot? that will help clairify the es/is debate...

...what did yo get the VIN off of? the car or title/registration?
