I personally have always wanted a BMW hatch that didn't look like shit (Read: 318ti) but I couldn't deal with knowing it had a honda motor. Strip it out, cram an STi drivetrain and powerplant in there and I think winter would be fun...
WOW, just wow. Lots of props to him for all the work he put in. I always loved hatches, and i've always been partial to old SI's too. Amazing gas mileage, and it is a FWD go-cart.
I would love to have something like that, just not for $7500, I'd rather get a gti.
And this is not "rice". Or if it is, it is in the best meaning of the world possible. There are very few BMW owners that do something quiet as impressive as that. he didn't throw in a fart can and decals, he went through the car and fabricated what he actually envisioned. Wish i had time and skills to turn my e30 into a hatchback, I would as would a lot of people out there.
I would consider it more of a "show" car then anything else. Props on the work done to it. But why waste 20g's on a Honda. I love Honda's but never will I spend that much on one.
