What i want to know is why 97% of people say beamer when did it get mixed up. i did it to until i got into them hardcore. as for just using chasis code, get ready to give a 2 minute explanation every time.

I use the chassis code around people that know what it means, which at this point is my parents, my brother, and at this point, my close friends, lol. My mom and friends were kind of forced into learning it.

If I don't think they know, I'll usually call it by whatever model number it is, ie 325, or 3 series if I don't know.

I spell it bimmer, but usually pronounce it "beemer". The V-6 thing is always funny, and I love it when people are surprised to learn that my car isn't front wheel drive.

Who gives a fuck? I call it my BMW or my E30. If someone calls it my BEAMER, I could give a shit less. 9.99 times out of 10, they're complimenting it. I'm not going to make them feel stupid and make myself come off as an asshole by correcting them on some stupid-ass pronunciation error.
