Anyone seen one yet? Anyone else seen the funny Brook Shields commertials?

they appear to have two engines: a ohv (pushrod?) 12v 3.8, and a sohc 24v 4.0, both v6s. Why such crappy engines?

The routan is a Chrysler minivan just reskinned. That explains the shit motors.

VW signed a non-compete agreement with ford a decade or so ago stating that they would not bring the (apparently brilliant) Touran minivan over and have to keep up with that end of the bargain. I wonder what cool euro Ford gave up on bringing to the states at that time?
