Old VW Bettles are really good cars. Not fancy, but reliable.

And I'm really going to cry over that news that the Routan is a rebadged Dodge/Chys

well the routan supposedly dose have vw electrical components. its not a a flat rebadged van.


anyways who wants a superbeetle? get a 67' rusty 13-window bus. mine should be running and slammed by christmas ;)

I half-assed tried to get my wife to buy into the idea of getting a Sprinter, the comfy consumer version, then buying the MB "conversion" (the badging and whatnot) on eBay and try to trick it out, vaguely AMG style. Maybe somebody in Deutschland sells springs, wheels and stuff.

That idea went nowhere fast. Just as well, but it was fun thinking about it.

Read: Dodge (rebadged Mercedes) Sprinter as the real german-made minivan. Sorry, no AMG variant available :-P
