well its a 6 hour drive, i have classes all week and a ton of hw...and to be honest, the ix is starting to make some creaks and other noises thats are scaring me so...........next year

nope.. although the boston club is having a 3-day at NHMS that same weekend that is tempting...

ffaaawk i can't get down there. although I'm going to check out a 240z tomorrow, i may just buy it and drive down lol. not sure if my bike will fit in a 240z though lol

I was down there today, stopped by the Concours at Logan Ridge Winery - saw lots of nice cars both there and around town! Absolutely perfect weather too. I'll probably head down that way again tomorrow.

scabzzzzz step dad wins a preservation award for their badass e34M5. really a nice car.
im a little leary of scabzz and cold accord though. they wanted me to come back to their hotel room after the awards. they are a cute couple but thats not my thing

I had a good time. David Andy and I were at the glen during the day, ithica (where the hotel was) in the evenings. Beers, bicycle riding, and some abandoned boat that became our fort. good times.

saw Blunt driving on main street today in his inka 02, car looked beautiful, I want to check it out closer ! The weather sucked, was raining, cold and foggy, will go back to the track to check thinkgs out, driving the red Mini Cooper S with white stripes

a mini hit a 41 in auto-x, best time of the day. an x6 driving school car ran a 49 which was pretty sick. a disgusting s38 e28 m5 was in the 41's. nasty!

O fest kicks...

Watkins Kicksss.... Wednesday.. went to concours.. F*ckin vineyards smell like sweet ass jelly. Thursday hanging at track. Drover a X6 - 5 series and new 135. M series and 135 pretty sweet. Had dinner Thursday night with 15 2002 owners at Seneca. Blunt was cool. And he's not short. Took my bike and got a ride in on west coast. Sorry no fixed gear but ride was sweet.Hiked the gorge. Ate at the new. HO-tel. No Ho's but yum food. Slick joint on the lake. Did it all... Good times.. Got 29 mpg on my M42 on way back..

yeah I was there a couple weeks ago when i noticed it, thing sprung up fast

that white 135 with the stripes was hauling at auto x

just a note. you should not buy the tan or bronze colored 135i that was offered for test drives. i took it over a set of rr tracks dukes of hazard style and i know i got 2 feet of air for about 20 feet. it seemed ok afterwards but i thought for sure something was busted the way it came down . i drove the 135 and 535 and preferred the 535. the 135i is a bloated understeering pig. maybe with 4k of suspension mods it would be ok but i felt so disconnected from it.
ps, that 535 will never be the same either

^^and im sure the turbo wont last in those 135s either, all i did was stay in 3rd gear, gas, brake, gas, brake, gas, brake, gas, brake. The power out of the 135 feels violent, as the M3's V8 was really nice and smooth.

Alex Schipkov pwned everyone there as soon as he showed up. I think every run he made was better than the fastest time of both days of Autox.
