going to pick up an alpinweiss(sp) 318is this weekend, however this is the same color as my sisters car, so its getting painted, I can get it painted for free through a training program at an autobody school, and was wondering what everyones opinions were, im split between black and brilliant red. right now i have a brillantrot 318i, which i probably will be parting out so some of me wants to paint this one red, but i also love black e30s, what would you pick? I will have to pay for materials.

Body color change from people learning to paint? Really? I'd pass personally.
Black is hard to keep clean. Red looks really sporty on BMW. White is awesome cause it can be so dirty and still look clean. So stick with white.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics?

the color is all personal opinion, and i happen to like schwarz or a bright red, so more than half the responses to this were erroneousLast edited by jrobie79; 09-15-2008, 08:50 PM.1991 318is --- currently not road worthy

i do want opinions, but not blue or silver, im just asking what you would prefer black or red, that Arktissilber is nice, but its just not for me. might be a little lame to get that //M color on a non //M car. however black is cheaper to buy then red correct?1991 318is --- currently not road worthy

Alpinweiss. Color changing is shitty, especially if you're getting it done by students.-Erik
