what you did to this car is like getting a supermodel naked and willing to do anything you please. now here you are faced with ths once in a lifetime opportunity and then you squander it by making her fuck you in the butt with a 24" strap on. you are a sad, silly little boy.

this is true. ive been thinkiing about buying a 96 328is 5sp orig owner 184k. i asked a few of my friends (and showed a picture of the e36) which one should i keep/get. should i keep my e30, or get the e36. nearly all of the guys said keep the e30. but all of the girls said get the e36 lol. now see, i dont roll with the balls and wiener group..so i put my e30 on cl (whats up ladiesssss! lol)..but after i washed my car, i just could not let it go. e30s FTMFW!!!! (balls and wiener group, but still roll with the ladies)

when done right (M3) e36s can look sick as hell. maybe its just because my e30 sits so high, that i hate it sometimes :/

when life gives you lemons (aka diving board e30's or etas) make caipirinhas.

There's always a bright side or something to look forward too: http://r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=119653

My e30 brightens my day often. Knowing there are things to improve, replace and repair even brightens my day. I just patiently work towards it. Either you love them or you obsess over them. If neither, I would have gotten rid of it a long time ago....

if you're getting a car for females, I'd say start with an e46 or don't even get a BMW. I personally could give a fk what a female thinks of my car.

Get the E36 already...it would put an end to posts like these:

              Could you just please stop?

Find yourself a UCSD fat chick to fuck or something to fill your free time if you can't afford the E36. Either way, you get about the same experience anyways...fun in it's own respect but something just isn't quite right.

Do work. If I was still in LA, I would give you my cell number and come down and help you with it (I used to always look for reasons to visit SD), but now I'm in NYC.

If it's just a matter of needing $400-$700 in parts and you've got plenty of tools, pull in some part time work. The economy sucks, but you can still make plenty of weekend money doing whatever you have extra skills in. I picked two hundred cash last weekend helping families set up laptop software for their kids about to start college.

You can fix this! Good luck

good job on the research, shiftbmw. i'm sure you emerged from your mom's fat labial folds knowing everything you had to know about cars. :bow:blow me, e30ug.

other than that, thanks for all the posts. I'm going to try and adjust my valves tomorrow...car's ticking pretty loudly. I'll stick with it. I would have gotten a different car if i wanted bitches, but it's not quite the goal i had in mind.

Sell your E30 And buy a later model E30. Gonna be more fun and you would never think again about getting an E36.

motorsports, that's probably true. i guess at this point i just don't want to take such a huge financial loss. i'll have to replace all those parts over again eventually anyway.

hell, I havent touched mine in two months. I just havent had time and really dont feel like messing with it. I replaced lots and lots of parts, completely DA'ed the whole car and Im ready for paint with one exception. It started idleing strange and I just kinda blew it off. I'll get back on it soon. I need to finish her up so I can save a few bucks on fuel and vehicle maint.

You'd be flattering yourself to think that it took any "research" to find the retarded posts that you make. I just sampled at random knowing that I couldn't miss...

I'll also take this time to distinguish for your benefit the difference between a post containing an inexperienced question(which is excusable) and repeated posts containing whiney emo opinion questions regarding trading your car for this or that.

Nah, don't do that. This guy isn't trying to start trouble...he's just a little misguided. I still feel like there could be hope.
