they have been selling that crap in JC whitney forever. My grandpa told me stories about putting them on cars in the 40's. Big problem here is it's a constant speed fan. It can't vary based on what the enigne needs as a turbo or sc does. Plus it just doesn't push enough air.

That is volume, not pressure. Need to know the pressure it can push that 500cfm at to really know.

Plus if soemthing like that really worked it would be on every race car out there. Last time I looked they weren't hooking up hair driers on the intakes at the local track

just considering a turbo spins at 200,000 rpm that 8000 rpm would not be very suffecient

200,000rpm?? Is that right? I'm thinking maybe 20k.

yeah 200,000 is alittle below max for most turbos.

after that they become less effective or over spool and burn up.

500cfm isn't going to do you much good on a large BMW engine either. you'd be choking the motor at high RPM..

That's so funny, on another forum I'm apart of for my supra, a guy came on there trying to sell that shit. This is a site where most of our cars have turbos so it was funny as to how far we went with him.

Here is a link to the "discussion", and one of my favorite posts that I've done can be found on page 4 (last post on that page).
This guy was a dip shit.
