    oil pan??? 1986 325es

this is the second time this happened to me. the first time, which was last year. as i was leaving the parking lot i saw a huge puddle of oil when i pulled out. and i did not know how that happend. but i lifted the car up and saw that my oil pan was cracked, i dont know how that happend. now yesterday i pulled into a street and i hit a dip on the entrance of the street, and when i got home, next morning i pull out, and oil is everywhere. not my question is do the 325es come with metal oil pans?? and if yes where can i get one... or a regular one which is aluminum?? thanks

Many E30 owners with slammed cars never even scratch their pan. What are you doing to your car? Your best bet is to buy a skidplate. There is no steel pan available. By the way, your current pan is already metal. ;)

This should be the only problem you have with your pan. Ive been driving lowered E30s for 13 years now and never had a problem with a cracked oil pan.

you couldn't possibly be as low as I used to be

tucking rim by 1/2" with 16x9s wrapped with undersized 195/40-16 tires

I've raised the car up an inch all around and now I roll on 205/45s. I'm tired of blowing pans
