My dyno numbers all the way up to 7.5K. Finally.

Well, as you all know, the first time I dynoed, I was told my car was running out of fuel at 6-6.5K so I needed bigger injectors. But at that time, I did 231 rwhp at 6K RPMs. Not bad at all. Then I spun a rod bearking and needed to rebuild it. I did, and to set up the Alpha N, you have to dyno it. But since it was just built, it needed a break-in. So I only dynoed it to 6K. This time it was lower, I cant remember what. I didnt bother remembering.

Then today came. I had the bigger injectors, and a freshly broken-in 2.5 built by my friends at TNG in La Crescenta. I was hoping for 240 to the wheels and would have been happy with that. Here are the numbers. My scanners not working properly but I imagine you guys trust me since I have posted my other dyno sheets before.

    Max HP: 245.2 @ 7132 RPMs

    Max TQ: 193.3 @ 5342 RPMs

I am very happy. I left extremely happy and am in such a good mood. Finally all this good work paid off and having to deal with such a run-around and dynoing it just to run it until break-in, and the rebuild and all that crap. This is one of the very few times that my reasonable expectations have been surpassed by a fair amount. Now my car is set up. Id like to stiffen up the suspension a bit and I still have some fender rolling to do and some other little things but mechanically it is at its best. In the whole time that I have owned this car, it is right now in tip top shape. I am so happy.

A huge thank you to Armen/Matt/John at TNG Automotive in La Crescenta. I entrusted my car to them for the rebuild and they did not let me down. I knew they wouldnt anyways. The car sings now. Another big thank you to Church Automotive in Wilmington for dynoing it each time and being prompt and enthusiastic about it.

Its finally all set up and theres a huge weight off my shoulders! Now I can really enjoy it! No little niggling problems or things to remedy!!

No way those cams are stock. I have stock cams in my 2.5 and would be very happy to see 175rwhp...284/276 perhaps?

But those numbers are only half the story.

Then you start talking about how that car handles corners............ and OH EM GEE!

                          I miss SoCal back roads.

Nice numbers though cool guy. I'm not surprised as that motor really does *sing* in the higher RPMs. :)
