Aside from the heavy part, sounds like a typical e30 these days.

you would turn this down?

i find that hard to believe, besides, the same could be said of BMW after the e30, if we follow tha train of thought.Originally posted by DozyproductionsYou know why you're drinking that Pabst? No its probably not because it was the first beer you grabbed. It's because you're a winner.Comment

Speaking as a previous owner of a '91 90q 20v, sedan version of the CQ.
Check out http://www.20v.org if you are really interested in it, there are some common issues with this car, bomb, AC compressor clutch and at least the CQ had bigger brakes than the 90. I'd say that a total of 1730 NA sales makes it a little bit of a rare car. The inline 5 is a little underpowered for the weight but the coupe has better gearing than the sedan. I have not kept on top of prices but the coupe is more sought after. To bad they didn't come wiht the 20v turbo motor. You can still lock the rear diff in these car and man oh man if you get to drive it in the snow they are so much fun.
One day I hope to own a coupe I regret selling the 90.John

Meh, maybe I should have said that the build quality suffered post-C4/urS-cars. The B5 A4's and C5 A6's proved to have some of the worst build qualities (interior, suspension, drivetrain, etc.) I'm not sure about Audi's from the 70's and 80's and how they were built, but it seemed Audi's high point was in the mid-90's.
Sure, I wouldn't mind owning a B5 RS4 or an R8 (even a D2 S8, oh la la,) but they'd have to be brand new and I'd probably sell once the interior began to degrade.
The same can be said about BMW, everything post-E28, E30, E34 is crap and I wouldn't own it if it's over 3 years old.- Trey

You just need giant aftermarket turbos and/or motorswaps, If you want to put down 500 or so horses, most of the 5 cylinder motors respond very well to horrendous boost levels. Check these sites out for some monster quattro cars: www.motorgeek.com www.034motorsport.comSpeaking as a previous owner of a '91 90q 20v, sedan version of the CQ.

I loath Audis. They are great to drive, expensive to own (maintain properly), and a cock sucker to work on.Matt
