Not looking to have stupidly overpowered.
I would argue that stock M20 power levels will get most "average" drivers in trouble in a RWD car, especially an old one like an E30 that doesn't have understeer built into the chassis.a stock NA s52 makes more then enough power for daily driving and track use. actually anything over 250hp and is past the average drivers capabilities. unless youre looking for bragging rights. a cammed m52 (in a e30) was past my abilities as a driver and im a pretty damn good one.
Like you, I'm not worried about my driving competency. Well actually I am, I'm used to going fast on vehicles that weigh 2300lbs less and have just as much HP as a stock M20 or more, and only have two wheels.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

Just for reference, my friend just dyno'd his turbo e36. All it has is a HG and ARP Bolts, 9:1 compression after gasket. T3/4 turbo and a TRM tune. Made 333whp/328tq at 14psi with conservative tune.
Turbo 24v > Turbo m20 > N/A 24v imo.Comment
