After driving a ridiculously over powered turbo m20 for 4 years let me tell you, it too eventually gets old. I am looking for a 2002 to build an n/a n m10 for.

Not looking to have stupidly overpowered.

I would argue that stock M20 power levels will get most "average" drivers in trouble in a RWD car, especially an old one like an E30 that doesn't have understeer built into the chassis.

Like you, I'm not worried about my driving competency. Well actually I am, I'm used to going fast on vehicles that weigh 2300lbs less and have just as much HP as a stock M20 or more, and only have two wheels.

Just for reference, my friend just dyno'd his turbo e36. All it has is a HG and ARP Bolts, 9:1 compression after gasket. T3/4 turbo and a TRM tune. Made 333whp/328tq at 14psi with conservative tune.

                Turbo 24v > Turbo m20 > N/A 24v imo.
